Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry
Who ? O and Aidan
Where ? Their second house
When ? Wednesday morning
What ? Probably more fighting

O wasn't even sure how long it had been since he'd been kidnapped. It had happened so long ago, the fourth of July when he'd been buying fireworks to shoot off. He wasn't sure how much time had gone by since then, guessed it at three weeks. He was on his third week there. He'd thought for sure that he'd be rescued by now, that Stargate would have found him and brought him home, or that at least he'd be able to escape. So far all he did have was a very sore, bruised face from being punched so many times, a starving belly, and a sore body from being tied up to a chair. It was exhausting, being kidnapped, draining. He was ready to give up and felt weak for not being able to hold on.

When he woke up that morning he kept his eyes closed, trying to determine if Aidan was awake yet or if he'd have a few moments of peace before another horrible day began.

Aidan was indeed awake, and out of the bedroom. He'd left O there, because handcuffed to the bed it wasn't as though he could get anywhere if he escaped.

He was in the kitchen, making breakfast, because even if his captive refused to eat, he was hungry. The smell of bacon and eggs (mostly bacon) wafted through the cabin, as well as coffee percolating. Aidan had shown to be bad in the kitchen, but breakfast foods were easy, and even he couldn't mess them up. He made extra, like he always did, incase Lee-whatever-his-name-was changed his mind. And if he didn't, well, Aidan liked leftovers.

He could hear Aidan puttering around in the kitchen but for the moment he was alone, which was a good thing. He pulled himself up although it took a lot of strength just to do that. He couldn't eat but he needed to stay hydrated so he pulled water out of the air to replenish what he'd lost in the night even if doing so made him even more exhausted than ever. Leaning back against the headboard so at least his arms wouldn't be strained, O closed eyes and tried to relax.

When the eggs were nearly done and the bacon was well on its way to frying, Aidan returned to the bedroom to check on his captive. O appeared to be asleep, but that mattered not. "Up and at'em," he said as he took the key out of his pocket and unfastened the hanf cuffs that kept O attached to the bed. He quickly fastened his wrists together again and then scooped him up and tossed him over his shoulder.

"Are you going to be a little asshole today, or are you going to behave yourself?" he asked as he carried him out into the living area, towards the chair.

He didn't say anything, not as he was hauled up or carried away and it was back to the chair again, the story of his life. He struggled against being chained to it again but the attempt was weak because he was weak so in the end there wasn't anything he could do. As soon as he was settled in he closed his eyes again. The food smelled good but he was used to ignoring it so all the breakfast aromas were easily pushed aside.

Aidan tied him up easily, binding O's small frame to the chair. He stood back to admire his handiwork, to make sure that everything was in place. "You're going to eat today," he informed his captive as he went back to the kitchen. "So you might as well do it the easy way. Otherwise I'm going to have to force you, and I don't think eggs and bacon blended up would taste nearly as good as they do on their own." His voice trailed from the kitchen as he put toast in the toaster. He poured two glasses of orange juice and brought them in and then a few minutes later came back with two plates, each with eggs, bacon and buttered toast - plus a cup of coffee for himself.

O looked over at him. He didn't really think Aidan was going to force feed him anything, it would just make a mess and more work for him. "Let me go," he told him, his voice cracking since it had been more than just that morning since he'd started on the silent treatment.

It was the same old song and dance, but this time Aidan just ignored it, since he had argued the point more times than he could count. Besides, O knew what the answer would be, because it was always the same, and not going to change.

He sat down on the sofa and pulled one of the plates into his lap and started to eat. He was going to enjoy his food even if O was going to refuse it and he sighed happily as he ate a piece of delicious, delicious bacon.

"Let me go." He said again, clearing his throat so he wouldn't sound like a fifty year old smoker. "I can't eat chained to a chair. Let me go."

"Yes you can, because I'm going to feed you," Aidan replied between bites. "I'm not untying you. You've made it clear that you can't be trusted." He scooped up some eggs on his fork. "So you'll have to suffer the consequences of your actions."

O just sighed and closed his eyes again. "Let me go." No one was coming for him. "Just let me go." No one cared that he was gone. No body missed him, no body wanted him, he was stuck here, he would die here. "Please let me go."

"That's getting really old," Aidan informed him. "You didn't get the answer you wanted the first thousand times, and you're not going to get it the next. So why don't you drop it and have some eggs and bacon." He ate another piece of bacon in demonstration.

"Maybe it'll annoy you and you'll punch me again...while I"m helpless and unable to defend myself." He rolled his head towards him, looking tired and under fed. "Let me go."

"It was the only thing to shut you up," Aidan said with a shrug, not feeling bad about it, not anymore, after what a pain in the ass O had been lately. He went back to ignoring him and eating his breakfast. He was going to enjoy his food and his coffee, even if O insisted on babbling and pleading in the background.

O didn't say anything else after that, he just looked away, away from Aidan. He was beginning to think it didn't matter. He'd been given away when he was a baby where he'd grown up serving someone else and then had been given as a gift to serve someone else and now he was here...where he could serve someone else. Should it really matter if he was in one place over another? If he had seen this not as a kidnapping but just another transfer maybe it would have been better. He'd been happy at Stargate, doing what he did, so happy that he'd forgotten he was just another piece of property.

Aidan polished off his breakfast, leaving nothing on the plate but a sprinkle of crumbs from toast and a little bit of bacon fat. He set his plate on the coffee table and sat back to sip at his coffee which had cooled to just the right temperature. He didn't say anything else, just pretended that he was having a nice morning.

When the coffee was done, he set the mug on his plate and leaned forward. "Last change to eat like a normal person before I take this to the blender," he said of O's plate.

He looked at Aidan again, sitting up the best that he could and cleared his throat again, "you could just chain me to the chair, or my feet to the table. I won't do anything, I'm not going to do anything."

"You've said that before," Aidan reminded him. But after a long and considering gaze, he got up and went over to O and loosened ther bonds that tied his arms. He left his legs tied to the chair. "If you try anything, then this is your last chance," he warned. He brought the plate over and set it in O's lap.

"I never said that before." O insisted, looking up at Aidan and then down at his plate again. "Thank you for the meal." He murmured before he had a bite. If this was it, the next phase of his life, he'd just have to go along with it.

Aidan shrugged a little bit. "You're welcome," he said, sitting down on the sofa again and watching him eat. He was quiet again, he watching, until he asked, "How is it?" He knew that O was a much better cook than he was. That was obvious.

"It's perfect." He answered although his tone certainly didn't reflect any exuberance. Even though he was starving, he ate carefully and neatly but still managed to finish the plate in record time.

"Well, I know I'm not as skilled as you, but I can manage breakfast alright," Aidan replied. He waited for O to finish the meal and then took the plate, trading it for a glass of orange juice which he handed over.

He drank that down too without pausing to breathe and when he finished, he took a deep breath, imagining all the food churning around happily in his stomach. When he opened his eyes again he only looked briefly at Aidan. "I can do the dishes."

O was a peculiar person. Who offered to do the dishes when they were chained to a chair? The same person who offered to cook when they were a captive. "Alright, I guess you can," Aidan said a little bit warily, because he didn't trust O. But he wanted to gain back some of the semi-decent raport they had had in previous weeks.

He got up again and this time untied O's legs, watching him all the while for any movements that were out of place.

He gathered up the dishes and brought them to the sink along with the ones Aidan had dirtied to cook with. He filled one basin with soapy water and opened up a few cupboards as if he were looking for something. "Is there an apron?"

Aidan lifted an eyebrow and then shook his head. "No, I don't think so," he replied. Not that he'd ever noticed, and he certainly hadn't bought an apron. He'd never worn one in his life and couldn't imagine ever doing so.
