I kind of poured the rest of my spare brain cells into the sequel to this, which I had not been planning to write AT ALL (as in, this was totally a one-shot when I posted it), only Geri asked some questions below that I couldn't stop thinking about, and one thing led to another, and then there was an "oh dear God, so that's what happens next!?" and then another... which is to say that I might have had something sparkly to say in response to your Mochi v. Yoshi coment, but it's lost somewhere in my mental junk drawer and I'll have to rummage for it later.
