HELLO...Hello....hello.....ECHO...Echo....echo.....

18 members and not a peep out of anyone! Is that because you are all feeling as exhausted as me? Is there anyone out there with time this summer (or winter, if you're in the southern hemisphere) to chat? I don't mean right this minute (9:40 AM EST) but some time. Because I'm a teacher, I don't work during the summer and I've been lucky enough up until now not to have to get a summer job, but I've got to say that, even though my days have been filled with more hours of work than teaching ever had (pulling together this web site--for which I must be slated for the Loony Bin for sticking with so obsessively), this has been one of the loneliest summers I've ever spent. Is there any chance that there's someone out there who might occasionally pop in for a brief chat? I promise you--I don't bite.

Finally found my way here.

Are computers becoming more complicated ,or am I becoming older? I use to navaigate around here pretty well . Thank You for all the directions every step of the way. Im feeling like a little kid who wandered away from home and got lost . Now that I have figured out a few thing I will make my way here often. A big Thank You for all the hard work it has taken to bring back the VB and Yogri . I may wander now and again but Im in my comfort zone again. I stll visit the old Yogri site often over the years and for what is left there it still brings wonderful memories and laughter. I have wondered for several years if all the stuff missing from the old site might one day be restored. What a thrill for new fans to be able to read , to learn to relax and enjoy all the memories we had back then. Im hoping the missing material on the old site has not fallen by the way as it would be such a great lose for all. I have posted in Fan Reflections on Michael's official site a year or two back that the chat room on the old Yogri site is still up and working . I use to check to see if by chance someone might just wander there like I did. I had one e-mail as to how to find the chat room.Well I must close here as there are chores to be done about the house before retireing for the night Love , Light , Enery and prayers to all

waiting for the party to get started...

Tiring of watching dust motes stirring in the late afternoon sun, Becky stands from her leather armchair and walks across the room to the bar. She places her mostly empty pint glass gently on the bar and turns toward the stables. "I think I'll go check on the unicorns," she says to no one in particular, "Maybe there is more action happening out there..."

Hanging out in the Great Hall...

Sitting in a plush leather armchair with pint in hand, Becky looks around and watches a few of her old friends as they begin to file in and become reacquainted with the old Inn.

She waves to SallyOZ as she drifts by, but she's not sure if the distracted Sally saw her.

A small group is standing in the corner near the bar chatting quietly amongst themselves. Becky raises her glass to them in greeting.

A beam of late afternoon sunlight falls warmly across Becky's shoulders and she leans back into it to watch the dust motes swirl like fairy dust in the light.

Journalling 101

OK, because some of this might be a little bewildering, here's some hopefully helpful hints to get you settled in here!

1 - once you have set up your journal you can start to 'friend' both other people's journals, and communities such as this one here, [info]yogri

2- to post to this community/asylum you need to go to the word 'Journal' in the orange strip across the upper part of the screen, and click on 'Post' in the little menu that appears. When the screen loads you will see a pulldown that says 'Post to:' and in it will be your journal name, and if you click on it, you will see 'yogri'. If you want to post in here, you select 'yogri' in that box! Otherwise you post will be to your own journal.

3 - to say something in a thread already in here, just click on 'Speak!' at the bottom of the post!

4 - to get to the 'info page' of any journal or community click on the orange smilie icon next to that journal's name wherever you might see it.... like this one --> [info]yogri - it will take you to the 'info page' of this community. If you click on this one --> [info]ozcmom it will take you to the 'info page' for my journal and so on and so forth!

5 - ...

I'll add to this as time goes on, and if you have any questions or suggestions for things you think might be of help to others, just 'Speak!' up in this post and let me know!

Pull up a stool and say hi!!!

Here you go...

For all the new arrivals, here's the 'welcome in' part of the Inn!

Down the bottom click on 'Speak!' and say hi!

Info for newcomers

Hi there!

We're finally getting everyone together again, and seeing how long it's been, and how much there is to do I'm suggesting everyone follow these simple instructions!

Firstly, set up your very own journal, here on InsaneJournal. Journal sites like this are now the fastest growing format for social networking. Some of you are sure to have heard of Facebook and MySpace, yeah? Well this is a similar type of thing, only... slightly different! LOL It's free to set up a basic journal, and very very quick and simple. Follow these instructions:

1. Click here to create your own journal.

2. Follow the instructions on the page to
- create your 'username' (mine is ozcmom),
- enter your email address (as they send you a verification email),
- your password (twice, as usual),
- your date of birth (don't worry, this is concealed if you want, or only part of it shown, it's up to you!),
- make sure you tick the 'I have read and agree to the Terms of Service.' box,
- and enter the characters in the 'Answer' box,
- then click "Create"!
It's that simple!

Note: If you select journal name that is already taken it will ask you to choose another one.

3. You will be given a link to start filling in your profile/info, and will be logged into your journal! Go for it!

4. When you are logged in, and have filled out whatever you want to put in your info, then go to join up to our community here, [info]yogri! To make it easier just

5. You can add userpics (icons) to your journal and post both in your own journal or in this community once you join it!

Hints & Tips

* If you want to go to see the 'info' page of a journal or community simply click on the little 'Tweak' symbol in front of the journal or community's name --> [info]yogri

* To make sure you receive an email whenever a new post is made to the [info]yogri community 'pin' the community - on the info page click on the 'pin' in the small toolbar in the middle of the page, near the top of the profile!

* To make a post click on 'Journal' in the orange bar at the top. And rather than post to your own journal, if you want to make a new post here, in the comm, when you are posting make sure the 'Post to:' dropdown is changed to 'yogri'.

If you have any questions you can ask them here, whether you have a journal or not. Just click on Leave a comment and ask away!

Have fun and get yourself an 'insane!journal'!
