Of course she talked about weddings; it was her job! She loved all the details and the expressions on people's faces and the way everything could come together to be this momentous, once-in-a-lifetime event. But there was no way that Jenny herself wanted a wedding, because, well... Her expression fell briefly when Gus mentioned divorces, and she quickly took her hand off his arm. The face of Eddie, her ex-husband, flashed through her mind, and a wave of guilt washed over her. But no, that was over. Eddie had left, and she no longer had to feel guilty.
So she pulled a quick recovery, letting out a squeak as Gus poked her. "I'm sure no girl's going to have time to say no to a guy who can take her right from the club to his bedroom!" she joked back, just letting the topic of divorce fall to the wayside. She laughed at his penchant to return to McDonald's automatically. "I bet they wish they could get all their customers to do that!"
She turned her smile on the attendant at the register. "Hi! Two large fries and two Happy Meal Toys, please! Different ones, if you can!"
