Amanda's intro
Greetings and salutations! I'm...not really sure what to put here, to be honest, so we'll go with this: I'm Amanda, and I'm an alcoholic a Pisces. I just recently turned 24, and am currently a grad student working on my M.A. in history. I really dig LOST, Charmed (don't judge me), The Daily Show and The Colbert Report, House, Psych, and The Universe series on the Hitler Channel. I live in America's armpit, West Virginia, and am a proud "parent" of three: 2 cats (Tiger and Oscar), and an eight-month-old ball of terror chihuahua I call Satan's little cupcake Izzy.
My only kid here is Jono, and he's a bit antisocial (just a smidge), but the basics:
-- named Jonothon, but usually goes by Jono or Jon. Don't call him Jonny unless you like making him bitchier than normal.
-- is, in fact, quite bitchy enough on his own without provocation, thank you.
-- 20, Scorpio, frustrated musician, so very not happy he's a mutant, and spends most of his free time sleeping or doing his Phantom of the Opera thing in the basement.
-- doesn't truly mean to be such a bastard, but he's content being left alone anyway, so don't expect him to change that any time soon.
-- what he misses most about being able to eat and drink: Jager and Irn Bru cocktails (responsible for killing many a braincell on a Friday night), and strawberry scones. Sigh.
-- yes, he's from London, and yes, he has that godawful Cockney accent despite his parents' best efforts to make him speak "properly," and no, he does not sound like Dick van Dyke, and the first person who brings that up is going to get punched. Fair warning.
-- do not let him drive. He kind of thinks he knows how to drive, despite not having a license, but he always relied on walking, biking, public transportation, or bumming rides off friends to get anywhere so he never bothered to actually get certified. He's an impatient telepath who gets nervous if he has to drive. Do not put him behind a wheel.
