I swear I looked for a fansite before I started these. I'd much prefer going through a celebrity-specific fan gallery to downloading zip files full of screencaps and then deleting all the ones I don't want, so fansites are usually the way to go, in my opinion.

But I made the mistake of checking again tonight, right when I was almost done with these, and apparently there IS a pretty good gallery with caps from various things.

Oh well. Here's a crapload of icons where she almost always looks upset in some way. I'll be making more where she looks happyish, but it may be awhile.

I finished this set on the flight home last night. (Well, except for the five or so I made this morning, shh!) He is the prettiest bearded older man I have ever seen, and I'm pretty sure I'm going to icon him in his Old Testament Prophet look from the other seasons, too.

I love his lopsided amused-grimace-smile.

It is almost obscene how well Geena Davis has aged. If I am half this gorgeous and radiant when I'm her age I will be ecstatic.

Most of these are of her around 50, but there's a couple that're ten or so years earlier.

( I have an elbow that bends the wrong way, and I'd do things like stand in an elevator and the doors would close, and I'd pretend that my arm had got caught in it, and then I'd scream, 'Ow, ow, put it back!' )

This woman is amazing. Hard to icon, though - she'll look skeletal one moment, queenly the next, and then all of a sudden she morphs into a hamster (figuratively speaking). The caps were pretty brown, too, which didn't help. But I did what I could.

These are all from Alien: Resurrection, obviously.

( The movie business divides women into ice queens and sluts, and there have been times I wanted to be a slut more than anything. )

I'm kind of... in love with this guy. Yes, even though he's in his sixties. Yes, even though he's kind of funny looking. His character on SVU is awesome, and... yeah. That's pretty much it.

Jackson Freaking Browne, yo. I love this man. If I could find more decent-quality pictures, I would make five million icons of him. As it was, a lot of these weren't very pretty and took a bit of cleaning up, which may or may not have been sufficient. Whatever, it's Jackson Freaking Browne.

Miranda Richardson is delightful in this movie, which is good because she's the only one in it who acts well. I love her dresses, too - she'd be a brilliant Helga Hufflepuff.

Quality is patchy because I made these over the course of about sixth months and I really didn't feel like going back and restarting from scratch.
