Rogue had been wanting to spend some quality time with Bobby (something which their relationship had been lacking as of late) and left him a note earlier that day, asking him to stop by her room before he went to bed. There was nothing in particular on her mind that she wanted to discuss with him, she simply just wanted to hang out with him and act like a real couple for a few hours.
As the daylight began to diminish, Rogue had already gotten comfortable on her bed and was reading one of the many books she'd gotten from the library. Earlier, she had been messing with her vast collection of maps (which had been tacked back up onto the walls around her room) and planned some routes out for trips/adventures she'd like to take in the future. Though, due to the current state of the world, she doubted she'd be able to make any of her plans come to fruition anytime soon. But damn if it wasn't fun to daydream about all of the places she may be able to visit during her lifetime. She really wanted for them (she and Bobby) to take a big, long vacation after things went back to normal - or as normal as things could get. She figured that they'd deserve a break once things settled down; in fact she thought everyone there deserved to catch a break after this was all finished.
She hoped they'd be able to....
Around ten o'clock, Rogue placed her book onto the nightstand next to her bed and twisted around to adjust her pillows again; they had slipped out of place while she had been reading. After she did this, she glanced over at her clock radio and sighed. She had no idea if Bobby had gotten her note or not yet, and she was beginning to wonder if he was going to show. Bobby had the weekends off from teaching, but he sometimes went a few rounds in the Danger Room whenever he had the time. Ever since that botched practice session a couple weeks back, he seemed a little more determined to prove himself as a leader than usual. Not that she could blame him, of course.
Though there was a good chance he might've been getting 'Punk'd' again, somewhere. Troy and Will, and pretty much everyone else in the mansion seemed to enjoy playing/pulling pranks on him. She just hoped none of their wacky antics had gotten out of hand and that was the reasoning why he hadn't turned up yet.
