It was nearing five thirty in the AM and Matrix still hadn't found the time to get some much deserved sleep, but sleepless nights occurred on a regular basis for her. In fact, she couldn't remember when she had last fallen asleep before six AM; she was sure it had probably happened before the Cure Virus broke out across the globe; but even before that, Matrix lived off of power naps for the most part. Oh, and very strong, black coffee. Without a source of caffeine, she'd surely crash; so she was sure to keep it on hand at all times, just in case she'd needed a quick buzz. Computers were delicate equipment after all, so you couldn't be too care when it came to such things.
Speaking of which...
Eva had to replace three computers in the lab she was currently working in (as an 'act of god' had wiped them out the night before), and since there had been no room to keep extra supplies in the upper levels of the mansion, she'd need to bring them up from the basement. Unfortunately for her, superhuman strength was not apart of her roaster of powers, so she'd need to enlist the help of at least one able bodied person to help move things along more quickly; and since most of the main building's residents were doing something sane like actually getting some sleep (or working on finding a cure for the Cure Virus), she'd have to resort to asking for outside assistance (i.e. the Brotherhood) for this matter. She just hoped someone would be awake and up for the task at hand, if not she'd have to make several extra trips on her own.
Normally, Eva didn't mind doing things by herself; in fact most of her time was spent alone, working independently with the school's network - and the Brotherhood's (which was now linked to theirs), even if it was on an unofficial capacity. As far as she knew, they were unaware of her probing their system, but it wasn't like she had any malicious intent, she was just making sure they weren't hijacking any information on their end that they shouldn't be. However, today she just wanted to get things done as quickly (and seamlessly) as possible, so she would be able to get at least two hours of solid rest, before returning to her duties as usual.
As she entered the Brotherhood's dormitories, the first rays of sunlight were barely shining through the windows of the common room; but all was quiet and still. She couldn't see anyone around, which caused her yellow brows to furrow and a subtle frown to turn at her lips, as she moved further instead, clutching a thermos full of coffee at her side. She figured she could at least be courteous enough to bring caffeine in exchange for a favor, especially since she showed up without 'calling ahead' first.
