Who: Kara and open What: Getting food Where: Mall food court When: Lunch Warning: thievery
She hadn't eaten since lunch the previous day, and she could feel it wearing on her. Her metabolism was rather accelerated due to her ability, and she was starting to slow down even more. Not only that, but her legs were still a little worn out from the previous night. She had run faster than ever and she didn't know when they would start feeling better, but she knew she needed food. She hadn't had her wallet when she left her dorm, and, with her sister on watch, she couldn't get back into her dorm to get it just yet.
She went inside the mall with a plan. She was going to try and move fast enough to avoid being seen and take a small bit from every person's meal in the food court. Hopefully that would be enough to get her by for now.
As expected, the food court was packed full of people. Most of them were teens out of school for summer. She decided to target the teenage girls about as skinny as she was, figuring that they would be the ones who wouldn't notice some food missing since they probably would have the most leftovers.
She readied herself with a tray and took off. She felt a bit slow, but she could tell she was still moving fast enough to make people just think their eyes were playing tricks on them.
After she managed a full tray of food she found a table in a secluded area of the food court to sit. Her legs felt like they were on fire. She began rubbing them while she ate on some chicken nuggets.
