The GALILEO needs you!

Welcome to the USS Galileo, a Star Trek roleplay set in the year 2389. This is an all original character cast crewing the Nova-class science vessel Galileo, on her missions throughout the galax. We are looking for writers to help take up the mantle at any one of our open posts. We have dozens of open positions available for the picking, so make sure to check us out! This roleplay is for anyone who is interested in the Trek continuity, who enjoys writing and active participation in a roleplay. This roleplay uses the very intuitive Nova software to make writing between multiple people simple and fun. If you love Star Trek, roleplaying and writing, the Galileo is for you.
These are the voyages of the starship Galileo. Her mission, to explore strange, new worlds. To seek out new life and new civilizations. To study spacial rifts, wormholes, and time fluxes. To develop and test the latest cutting-edge technologies. To observe and catalog new life forms...even though they might be slimy and look kind of disgusting.... To boldly go where no research vessel has gone before!

Fertility
Heavy humidity presses her bone-thin limbs into patient, breathing soil filling her footprints with earth-soaked scent. Surrounded by wind pregnant with round, young droplets so similar to the dull crimson rush of false fertility that streams from her, She wonders if she is not so different from the rain that threatens to split the seams of the billowing black, waiting, wanting to be born. |

After a while you learn the subtle difference between holding a hand and chaining a soul and you learn that love doesn’t mean leaning and company doesn’t always mean security. And you begin to learn that kisses aren’t contracts and presents aren’t promises and you begin to accept your defeats with your head up and your eyes ahead and you learn to build all your roads on today because tomorrow’s ground is too uncertain for plans and futures have a way of falling down in mid-flight. After a while you learn that even sunshine burns if you get too much so you plant your own garden and decorate your own soul instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers. And you learn that you really can endure you really are strong you really do have worth and you learn with every goodbye, you learn… |

1. How could she have predicted upon choosing the date America would lose her heart. 2. When he sneaked though the window- we all knew. From a distance we watched him walk down the drive way – then to his dirty white jeep – He dove away to never come back. 3. Everyone is here to celebrate New Year, snacks and games, like charades. It's my turn. 4. Nervous excitement, afraid that I'd get lost. I made a friend. 5. We were the best of friends for years until she spread lies, embarrassed to be my friend. Now I have friends who are proud to be my friend and who are trustworthy. 6. Smooth silkiness that waters my mouth bitter and sweet creaminess I get enough that I could just bathe in it. 7. Dunk it. Stir It. Shake it up. Heat me up put ice in to make me cool. All colors, all different kinds of tastes. I'm open to anything. 8. Pressure- do I really want it? It's a must. More freedom or a burden? 9. Patience, Kindness, able to be silly at times, don't let them fool you. Tough but lenient. Might let the little tike get away with it this time. 10. We say good bye for the last time. I will miss you my soul sister. 11. America lost her heart. 12. Experts said that I only have limitations- they were wrong; I rose above the bar. 13. I hope to have a family before I'm forty and to be a published writer. 14. "Look, Look, My life is an open book."

It is just as this world, you know This world in its undying perfection This world without the drop-in human nature And he walks with us He is not an object of heavenliness or praise He is not bowed to or loved In fact he exists just less than he once did For we are among his gardens Within his palms Beneath his breath So much so that he becomes us Our reason is simply ourselves Questions fade Unanswered, for unasked We are not alone for the company of those we knew Those we now know Those we never met And those we never wished to meet For there is bliss in the company of an enemy There is a place for all things Without definition or gender Opinion or argument But for some reason you feel no longer so immortal as you once did For at some point which you cannot place your finger upon You did in fact cease to exist Cease to feel Cease to act Cease to express You do not understand You are simply reprieved of your wondering And the worst feeling of all is while you cannot feel Not to regret what you so wish to What you could have been While you had a person While you had human nature The drama The ugliness The shit and the shitter For then, you had your control For then, you had your choice Your power The power that is will to live The power that is will to die You had your life
I should not write as to how I feel, but as to how I feel I should write. Expression will always be undefined. |

The beautiful girl on Rain St.
She loved to dress in skirts - they felt as though she were wearing nothing at all. The wind danced merrily around her thighs in a high-spirited daze, the way it does in the nude. It was only the weight of that familiar cotton-based hem just above her knee that dragged her back into the real world, in which she was fully clothed.

I've written this for school, even though school probably won't like it. My friends refuse to tell me how to improve it.

She said, he said To eachother on the beach Meaningless words Under the guise of affection Anonymous bodies Creating a night forgotten As they depart Promises are broken There will be no sequel

Always answer another animal. Bubbly brides beam boldly. Cantankerous cats can't complain. Don't dye deadly dingos. Easy egrits expect eggs. Fine feathers find freedom. Good gals get guns. Happy Harriet hates hair. Icky igloos inch to Iceland. Justified journalists join Jesus. Kooky kangaroos keep ketchup. Lieing lemurs leave late. Moping monks might moan. Never notice nautical necks. Open oysters outside the office. Pump peanuts into the penguin's pen. Quick quails quit questioning. Righteous radicals rally reasonably. Slow snails stop snow. Turgid tuna turns tangy. Ugly umbrellas usurp underpants. Various vigilantes vie for verification. Wet walleye wear watches. Xenophobic xenoliths Xerox xerophyte. Young yaks yodelled yesterday. Zany zoos zoom zippers.

"Walk the Line"
We own you, motherfucker Assume the position, prepare for force Bite your tongue, don't you dare talk back Your pain is our pleasure Stand the fuck up, keep marching Sing us a happy little tune You don't need no water Where are your gods now?

"Changes"
You try to figure out why you feel sick to your stomach Could it be all of your lies and deception? White men raping black women Innocent people murdered in their sleep Botched suicide attemps brought on by corporate greed You try your best to look educated Newspaper in hand that you don't even read Eyes glued to FOX News Paying your tithe Step out of your ignorance Abandon all traditional dogma No-one owns you Learn to love, learn to live, learn to be free Reject what others perceive as reality Only you can decide your destiny Only you can impact the world Only you can start the revolution
