Magical Mystery Invitation Across the Fandoms
Released to the wilds of the vast universes throughout time and dimensions, the invitations to the party are part Time Lord psychic paper tech and part good old magic. They don't have to appear in traditional guise, though they might be a colourful card or banner, a flying paper plane or possibly a delicate origami crane. These invites could be text via your cell or the phone itself, a surprise playback from a CD or DVD, part of a painting you've not noticed at the museum, the towel of a Hitchhiker or new info on his Guide, or anything at all relating to the invitee's own time and place in the scheme of everything that ever was, will be, is.

Dear Recipient, (so the invite begins)

Consider this your ticket to the only party of its kind ever anywhere and anywhen. We ask you who might enjoy meeting others of all eras to come over and mingle! The time where we live is the spring of 1964 though you needn't fret about possible showers as you shall safely arrive right inside.

If you want to be where it's at, hold this invite in your hand (or just touch it if it's too big) and say out loud, meaningfully now: "Yes please, I want to party where it's groovy! I do want to know a secret!" (If you're shy or reserved, thinking emphatically will get you here too!)

You don't even have to click your heels together. Unless you want to, of course. Nor do you have to salute or take just a jump to the left, put your hands on your hips.

If anything occurs which a lot of people might notice, like the Weasley twins setting off fireworks lol, I'll be sure to point that out in the OOC comm. This doesn't mean the twins have to appear but they make such a good example of how to attract a lot of attention!))

Ares loved the Ringo's reaction, it was good to see that just by a simple action he was getting to the musician. He looked over at the three mortals and decided to behave, for now. He liked playing with them but he didn't want to frighten them, he was having to much fun with them.

He turned to Jonesy, unimpressed by the Time Lord's tone. "I am not taunting, I am just showing who they are dealing with. A picture says so much more then words." He smirked as he thought about what he just showed Ringo, those pictures really showed a lot more then words could have ever shown.

Ares was a bit surprised how different the two Time Lords from each other, incarnations did seem to alter not just the looks. He found himself liking Smithy more then Jonesy. "The freedom of having power." He moved his leg from the arm rest and sat up a bit straighter, "Going where every you want when ever you want too."

Ares turned his full attention to Smithy, "Freedom is something not everybody understands." His idea of freedom was simply that he could do what he wanted, when he wanted and how he wanted. It might seem egotistical but he believed he had the right to that kind of freedom.

"What is your ultimate feeling of freedom?" He was not a caring god, but that didn't mean he could not be interested in someone else's views. He didn't have to believe them or do anything with them, he was interested in some of them. Smithy was interesting... for now.

The Tenth Doctor never had a problem with being center stage, or as in this case, being allowed to share center stage with Ares the god. He glanced at a silently observing future Doctor and the Beatles who were still watching, who hadn't yet stepped away though John had moved furthest from the tableau within the larger scope of the party.

"That really depends," he responded, pacing in one direction and turning swiftly on his plimsole's heel. "Once I believed it was getting away from Gallifrey to pursue my own ideas. At another time I thought it was bringing Enlightenment to a companion and sometimes it's just hearing the TARDIS travelling, or listening to music before I arrive at the next time and place. And how about you? With all of your powers, do you have any particular thing that gives you the ultimate feeling of freedom?"

"I am never really free but still I am." Ares smirked, he didn't really mind or feel bad about what he was. "I am what I am, War." He made a little lightning bolt appear and let it bounce back and forth between his two index fingers. "I am extremely powerful, I can go where I want when I want in any time I want." He spoke casually as if he was talking about a trip to some store.

He looked up from the lightning bolt and back at Smithy, "But if you want to know what true freedom is..." He made the little bolt disappear and leaned back lazily. "Real freedom is riding a chariot pulled by fire-breathing horses."
