Characters: Narcissa Black and Lucius Malfoy Setting: The Black's home in London, the afternoon of December 28th Summary: Lucius has a present for Narcissa Rating / Status: G/PG for now, and it's in-progress
Narcissa paused by the window, where snow was still falling lightly. London winters were all ugly, she thought to herself. One grey day after another. The enormous tree and other Christmas decorations hadn't been taken down yet from the Black's home, but theysomehow seemed almost pathetic now. Like holding on to Christmas with one's dying breath. Narcissa smiled, and shook her head at the melodramatic thoughts- they were almost Bella-worthy.
A part of her wondered what sort of present Lucius had gotten her. Jewelry was the most likely. It came in a variety of styles, and was relatively easy to procure, especially when money wasn't a problem. Yes, thought Narcissa, I'd place my money on jewelry.
She glanced at the room out of habit to make sure everything was in place, and took a seat on the lounge. Cygnus was out somewhere as usual and Druella was visiting with Aunt Rosier in another part of the house. Hopefully, she could count on no distractions.
"Go wait at the door for Mr. Malfoy," Narcissa instructed the house-elf, and proceeded to do the same in the drawing room.
