A Threat in the Land of Wolves: Prologue
Bloodshed had been stained across the snow, leaving many dead. The war between two races of wolves, the good and the evil, had lasted for several months. The two great Leaders fought savagely, both trying to kill the other. But the good always prevailed. The Leader had scratched the others right eye out, leaving him blind. While screaming in agony, the good Leader attacked, biting into his enemy's neck. The Leader pinned him down, wanting nothing more than to kill his enemy. So...he did. Three Years Later...
The birds were chirping overhead. The bright sun of Spring warmed the path and trees of the Appalachian Mountains. The only other source of life besides the birds and the forest was a red wolf, about 4-5 years old, strolling down the path. Battle scars of old were etched on his muzzle, chest, and back. Unbeknowest to this wolf was followed by another, more smaller one behind him in his wake. The wolf pup was only a few months old, but it looked fairly strong for his age. The pup was very eager to talk to the older in front of him, but he was very nervous. The only thing these two wolves had in common was the fact they shared the same fate. And sooner or later, they would both find out. Thus starts the new generation of good versus evil. |
