Who: Pepper and Emerson Where: His dorm room When: After classes What: Emmy's upset and needs to know if his problem is legit or if he's just being too sensitive
Everyday he didn't see or speak to Reed, Emerson's heart broke a little more. At first he thought he was just being overly emotional about it and that it'd go away, but then he had that argument with Reed which had ended in what Emerson interpreted as Reed not sure if mattered that Emerson loved him. He was trying so very hard not to make this into something it wasn't. All he really wanted was to forget everything and just curl up in Reed's arms like nothing had happened. But it wasn't going to work that way. He wasn't even sure if Reed still wanted him. Neither one of them had made the attempt to see the other. Emerson hadn't because he knew he'd get too emotional and just burst into tears, and he knew Reed so well by now that he thought Reed was probably avoiding him so as not to lose his temper. At least, he hoped that was the only reason why and that it wasn't what he'd been fearing.
He needed to talk to someone, though, because he was getting very wound up. And while he thought his concerns were legitimate and completely called for, he also knew he was biased. Of course, talking to Pepper might not have been the most objective way to go. Being close friends, she was always very protective of Emerson. The last time that he knew she even interacted with Reed she'd threatened to beat him up. But she was the only person he trusted to talk to about all of this -- save for Scorpius, but sadly, he'd not seen much of his cousin. It seemed he had his own problems. So he was going to talk to Pepper, even if only to get some of his worries off of his shoulders.
Leaving his room, he walked to the door to the boy's dormitory and waited for Pepper to show up.
