Cassius looked at the three long stem roses. A thoughtful expression on his features. He knew he was being duped and he couldn't find it in himself to care, not that the panic that lingered whenever he thought on the the fact that he simply knew that his house elf and his sister were match-making ... not that it wasn't around. It was simply that when he brought her face in mind he couldn't bring himself to worry about what it meant that all that mattered would be that look on her face-like the one she'd gotten when he'd given her the necklace-and her owl back. And that was worrisome in and of itself, but Cassius really couldn't bring himself to care at the moment. Really. All he had to do was think on her face.
He accio'd a quill towards him and wrote a short note.
To Sabine,
I wanted to say once more, thank you for inviting me to the event. I had a wonderful evening.

Attached three long stemmed roses, two orange and a dark pink one in the center
Cassius knew he was being duped. He'd done well in Herbology but he couldn't find it in himself to remember what the meaning of long-stemmed roses were, he was certain that dark pink was for thanks. However, what was it for the orange ones?Interest? Did he want to tell her that much? Did he want to make the conscious decision of telling Sabine that she interested him? Well, if his sister all the way at Drumstrang and his nanny were taking measures into cutting roses that had certain meanings, it must have been obvious to the rest of the world. Cassius knew better than to wonder what harm it could bring. Wondering that served for nothing, especially when he already knew. However, he thought on that smiling look of excited wonder that had flitted across her features, enough for him to take notice, when he'd given her that necklace at her launch. Damnitall, but he'd just made his decision.
