"Take all the time you need," he said with a wink, and ducked out through their bedroom to the hallway, closing the door behind him.
Instead of heading to the stairs to the roof, though, Oliver went straight to Ben and Todd's bedroom, knocking as he opened the door. Todd was wrestling with his dress robes still, looking very tall and uncomfortable in them. Ben, on the other hand, was calmly relaxing on his bed with the latest Quidditch Weekly, looking as if he was born in his robes.
"Looking sharp, gentleman," Oliver said.
"Aren't we always?" Ben said, and then glanced at Todd. "Well, I do, anyway."
Todd chucked a pillow at Ben's head. "Shut up, Fox."
Ben laughed, pulling the pillow away. Somehow, it mussed his hair in a way that made it look even better. "What can we do for you tonight, Cap'n?"
"I need something of mine," Oliver said, crossing over to Ben's nightstand. He crouched down and pulled open the bottom drawer. Inside, a stack of the finest issues of PlayWizard greeted his eyes, Carina Meliflua's curvaceous form subtly sliding between poses on the one on top.
"Don't you have your own, mate?" Ben asked with another laugh.
"Not looking for those," Oliver said with a wink. He rummaged down behind the magazines at the back of the drawer and pulled out a small, black velvet box.
Ben sat up, the laughter falling of his face as both of his eyebrows rose toward the sky. "How long's that been in there?"
"Ages," Oliver said, grinning as he hid the box in his pocket. "I had Todd hide it for me."
Todd smirked at Ben. "Guilty."
Ben scowled. "You told him and not me?"
"Blood is thicker than firewhiskey, yeah? Besides, you might have spilled the gobstones to Cho before I had a chance to," Oliver said, and then he sat down on the edge of the bed, lowering his voice almost to a whisper. "But, if you want to help now, I could use a favour."

After a few minutes of hushed conversation and planning that sounded not unlike a timeout during a League Cup match, Oliver took the lift up to the roof. In the sky above, the tip of the crescent moon was just peaking out from behind one of the many clouds that obscured the clouds reflecting the Muggle city's light back down toward earth. He went over to the railing and stared out over the park.
