Body Found Confirmed to be Missing Reporter
Erastus Saint
A body found last week has been confirmed by the ministry to be that of missing reporter Lucy Elkins. Two months ago Elkins, 23, had been reported missing by her brother. There’s been little to no news on the investigation into Elkin’s disappearance until unidentified remains were found last week.
Aurors steadfastly refused to comment on the investigation until they had a positive identification and the family had been notified. With the identification also came the news that there is definitely foul play suspected in her disappearance and death, and the Auror’s office asks anyone with any information to please come forward. |

Quidditch Official Changes
Erastus Saint
It was announced today by representatives of the Ministry that Hamish McElroy, Head of the Department of Games and Sports, will be stepping down from his position temporarily for the next twelve months. In happy news, McElroy is taking the leave because of the birth of his second child. However, complications were had during labor for his wife. Our congratulations and our sympathies go out to McElroy and we hope that his family prospers in the next year.
Rumors of a interim head are swirling, with most pointing to World Cup head Kyle Jugson. We will have more on this story as it develops. |
