Slipping into the house, she gave Fred a quick kiss, a part of her grinning madly that she was able to do that. "Nah," she breezed, with a dismissive wave of her hand, hiding her smile. "I'm sure she's managed to set off all the fireworks and burn it down by now."
She shrugged off her coat and dropped it and her bag on the couch. "We can make fireworks of our own, though." She winked broadly and was unable to keep herself from laughing at the corniness of her own words as she crossed back to Fred, reaching out and gently taking his injured hand in hers and pressing a soft kiss to it.
