It actually took more out of him to actually refrain from using any pet names for Daphne. Harder then a lot of things that on throughout his life. Blaise had been used to using such words to showed that he actually cared about her. Those feelings were still there, half-locked away, because of the thought that she might not want him around anymore. It was the worse feeling in the world actually. Then again, she surprised him every so often. The male hadn't expected her to invite him outside and share a couple of things that she had gathered up. From the way things were going lately, Blaise hadn't expected to hear from her for another couple of days. Something was going on with her, and he wanted to figure it all out. After all, a part of his mind thought she had belonged to him. Not that he'd ever make her do something that she didn't want to do, but she was his just as much as he'd do anything for her. There was no other person that he would consider his closest friends, no matter how many other people he might talk to.
Blaise gazed at her while she looked down at her hands, listening to all the words come from her mouth as well. Something was indeed different with them. Never had he seen Daphne act such a way around him. As much as he wanted to forget everything that might be wrong at that moment, completely he just couldn't bring him self to. "That was thoughtful," he replied, allowing himself sit down next to her upon the bench, facing her like usual. As much as he tried not to speak normally for the time being, his body language had remained the same. That was how Blaise was as a person. It wasn't something he could change, especially not around this particular woman. "It was an okay game. I could have done better. However, a win is a win, right?"
Even with the way he felt sitting there next to Daphne, Blaise still wanted to lead close and place his own lips upon her. There are some feelings and thoughts one could fight to keep within, but one feeling was better left hidden from the both of them. If he had done anythign to upset her worse then he ever had, Blaise would never be able to forgive himself. No other woman did make him feel the way she did though.
Watching the woman rise to her feet, Blaise couldn't bring himself to glance away. It had been a while since he had gotten a good lay in Hogwarts. Daphne was the best one that he'd ever had. No one had came close to satisfying his needs like she always did. Catching the intreguing look she flashed him, he trailed his eyes down her body towards her rather wonderful leg with a smirk. "I'm not sure. It does appear to be something quite perfect being flashed at me, but I believe I might need a closer look," he replied, almost forgetting that anything was wrong between them in the first place.
