A finely sculpted brow arched slightly as he refrained from calling her a pet name. Biting down on her bottom lip, Daphne realized things might not be as good as she thought they were. She noticed it during their exchange - how distant he was being. While Daphne wasn't the type to point it, she had to admit it did hurt a little. Blaise was her closest and dearest friend, that the thought that something might be wrong between them made her a little upset. Especially since things had been going fairly well between them since the little misunderstanding they had back at the beginning of the year.
"I... picked us up a little something. I figured we could share it. You played brilliantly during the game, love." She spoke quietly, and looked down at her hands. While Daphne was the epitome of icy demeanor, she definitely worked her hardest to keep that personality trait away from Blaise.
Things with Blaise were different, while she never opened up to anyone, she felt most comfortable with Blaise. He was perfect in her mind, and perfection was hard to come by. That fact alone was likely the reason why Daphne felt so comfortable around him. She couldn't name anyone else in the world that made her feel the way he did. She felt at ease, and perfectly calm, and allowed to drop that guard that she used around everyone else. With Blaise, Daphne didn't need to keep up that wall, and she didn't feel the urge to push him away. On the contrary, around him, she was tempted to pull him close.
Rising to her feet, gaze glanced over her outfit. It was the regular uniform, what was so lovely about that? Running her hands over the front of her sweater and over her skirt, she turned slightly, showing off her backside to him. "Oh?" A playful smirk curled on her lips, as blue eyes lifted to gaze directly at him, "What can you see all the way over there?" One sinfully long leg kicked up slightly, as she balanced on one black heel. There was no denying that Daphne was blessed with a body full of angles. She knew that Blaise couldn't resist looking.
