Since receiving the letter, Millicent had quite frankly been scared out of her mind. She'd knocked over a third-year who'd startled her already. She knew the meeting couldn't be about her being in trouble - those things hardly constituted an appointment, and she'd been getting better about that lately anyway - so it had to be that something had happened. Had they found Mum? No, she reasoned, even if they had, they'd have never traced it back to her. But what if they used truth serum on her? Or on Dad and Madeleine, or even Tellie and Grigor? Were they all right?
As she made her way into the office, she caught herself wringing her hands, and tried to disguise it as her normal aggressiveness, cracking her knuckles hastily. She hoped the headmistress hurried up with this - she was starting to feel ill. "Yes, Professor, I am curious, and I figure you'll clear that up soon," she muttered, keeping her face low as she took a seat.
