Meghan had shot a glare at Penny as she pretended to play hostess to her roommate, as if they weren't going to both see through her attempts at avoiding the conversation, though she found it hard to keep glaring at Penny and grinning at Ollie at the same moment.
"Oh, no, it's her friend, actually," Meghan informed him with a snort, making airquotes with her fingers and rolling her eyes. She winked at Oliver, then, clearly enjoying a partner in all the teasing of her best friend. Maybe it was mean to gang up on her like this, but it was all in good fun and there was something nice about the ease with which she could banter with Ollie. She felt comfortable with him, somehow, enough that she could giggle a little as she nudged him lightly with her foot.
"How are you?" she echoed her friend, feeling like she could play catch up with Oliver in between teases. It wasn't like they couldn't just shift back to nagging Penny about Orsino in a moment, anyway.
