Fred watched his wife pace, and what he wanted was to wrap her up in his arms and take her home, tell her it would be alright. But she was an Order member too, and Alicia's friend, and she had as much right to be here, nervous and scared and angry, as any of them did. The problems she'd been having with the pregnancy, though, he also knew it wasn't any good for her.
He stood up, then came to sit on the arm of her chair. "I did," he said, to her and to the rest of the people nervously assembling in the flat. "He said he was on his way back ... I'm not even sure where he and Granger were. But he's going to the office as soon as he's in."
