"Good," Ron said, looking over at the very few things pinned to the board. None of that sounded too bad. Decent instincts, a decent lead, a decent chance that maybe their informant wasn't full of it. None of it made him feel any more confident that Elkins was anywhere close to still alive, but at least they had a fighting shot. ... Sort of.
"'Credible' is stretching it a little," he muttered, in agreement with pretty much everything Montague had said so far. "And it usually is shite. Almost always." The example he had always trotted out before, that Trelawney had taken every chance she could to predict Harry's death, died in his throat and gave him a bit of a jolt. "But it's better than nothing. You're right." He sat, rifling through the other, even less credible files just to familiarize himself with them, and met Montague's gaze with what he hoped was a stern expression but was probably just vaguely worried. "I'm going on vacation," he said, his tone just a little too hopeful. "And I won't be back til Tuesday." He really, really hoped he was going on vacation.
