Migs seemed utterly pleased and proceeded to praise Susan in French until Marcus said, "Oy, what's burning?"
And though nothing was burning Migs' eyes went wide as ever and he rushed away from the pair to see what Marcus might be speaking of. This allowed Marcus to lead Susan out of the kitchen and into a hallway that led past servant quarters into the main living area of the manor. He was guiding her to a drawing room as he spoke.
"Yes. My mother died and left it to me, my father lives elsewhere... said he didn't like the memory of this place after she left. Uhm and I don't do much other than cooking and, well, maybe gardening. Flying is about it," he showed her into a room that had large magical paintings of the Flints hanging on every wall.
"I'll show you my mother, if you'd like.. and some others and then we can have an early supper?"
[And feel free to fade at this point, doesn't much matter to me. :) ]
