How had this conversation turned so serious? Was this what proper dates were like? He really only went out with witches he knew he'd be able to take home later so the talking thing wasn't quite necessary. If they did talk it was about him, or something relating to him in an effort to flirt like mad, but it was never really about deep things.
He hadn't taken a single sip of his tea but simply watched as she had at hers and spoke. Merlin, she had to have the greenest eyes he had ever seen. Everytime she looked up he felt a bit dazed and he almost didn't catch what she said last.
"Huh? Oh... I suppose. Not sure what kind of living I can make with that. Er, not that I need.. I don't have to work, really, but I can't imagine having too much free time on my hands if I did stop playing."
Though suddenly he was reminded that he wasn't going to have a lot of free time as soon as Jovian was going to be born.
