His dark eyes followed her as she stepped closer to the nearest plants. Then she turned and saw what lay behind him. The expression of surprise concerned him as he didn't mean to scare her, though.. maybe it wasn't being scared, perhaps it was the good kind of surprise? He couldn't tell.
Marcus frowned, turned a bit himself to inspect his countryside manor and then shrugged sheepishly.
"It is, er.. s'my home. This is my garden. I get some help from hired .. help, the house elves I got are bloody useless for the most part," he sighed, as if having useless house elves was simply that exhausting. Oh poor him, he had to do his own cooking and everything! He stepped up to her and placed a hand at the small of her back.
"Mostly though, I do my own. Not that many magical plants, though."
