She wouldn't be at all overdressed in comparison to him, being that for the most part Marcus made sure he was always dressed nicely when out in public, regardless of the situation. A date, which was what he intended this to be, meant dressing up regardless of where he took her. So when he appeared it was in nice slacks, a blue button up shirt and gray vest. He had his hair cut that morning, groomed his incoming stubble to something more presentable. He looked good enough that three witches, who knew him as a star chaser, stopped him in the Alley for an autograph.
So, he was running late. By the time she stepped into the apothecary he too was stepping in, though he stopped at once when he caught sight of her. His mouth quirked into a boyish grin and he stepped forward to meet her.
"You look... seriously brilliant," he said. "Ready? We're going to apparate there," and he offered his arm.
