Harry was taken aback by the directness. He hadn't expected it from Draco, who usually just handed off insults. Usually the same old ones, too. He'd never taken Malfoy for nearly as clever as he thought he was, actually. Harry figured that Lucius probably had more brains than his son. If Draco ever had a kid, it'd probably come out just that much dumber. A few more generations and they'd be paler, pointier versions of Goyle and Crabbe.
"I know it's there," Harry answered. Or if it wasn't, it would be eventually. "Can't cover it up forever, Malfoy. Don't they take Evil points off if you try to hide being evil, anyway?"
