"Good idea." Oriel never owned much white. It wasn't a good colour on him for one - he looked best in blues and grays - but mostly because it was just so easy to get messy. And he hung around animals a lot, and spent a good deal of time outside, so there was always plenty of opportunity for a mess.
Over to the counter they went, and he waited patiently as Ellie had her things run through and bagged and totalled.
When he was his turn, he pulled an old wallet from his pocket and pulled out some money for the clothes. Another good thing about thrift stores, aside from rescuing old clothing, was that they were always so wonderfully inexpensive. He handed over the money and slipped the change back into his wallet, which returned to his pocket.
"Alright," he said once they both had bags and were setting out of the shop. "Now into Muggle London." Which meant a slip through the pub and out to the other side.
