Ellie giggled when he said that she should get it. She hadn't tugged it out for her, she'd tugged it out for him. That wasn't to say that she wouldn't get it if he didn't want it, but still it hadn't been her intent to get it. So she held it out toward him and tilted her head. "I meant it for you. Don't like it?"
The plus side of Oriel getting it was that when Ellie hugged him or spent time with him she could pet it. It looked odder to people if she was petting her own top though she'd happily do it and not care. Most people overlooked it when she ran her hand down the arm of someone else's shirt as it was easier to pass it off as some youthful flirting. More often than not though Ellie wasn't flirting and was simply being her normal self.
"It is. It's coming home with me." She had the perfect pair of pants to go with it and a skirt for other occasions. She loved getting tops that she could mix and match with, it was so much fun. She'd never understood the people who thought they had to buy tops and bottoms together and that was all they could go with.
It didn't take long for her to find a purple sweater made with a lighter knit that joined the collection and then another long sleeved shirt with soft oranges, yellows and greens that made her think of the fall leaves. She also found a nice scarf that would match one of the shirts that hadn't been ruined.
"How many clothes do you think I'll ruin at the daycare?" It just hit her that she'd probably go through a number of clothes there. She could just imagine what she'd come home covered in.
