"I wish." Her tone was forlorn as she thought of all the ruined clothes back at her place waiting to be thrown out. "The ones with the small holes? They're all over or really close together and just waiting to be one big one. None are really anywhere easily hidden or fixed. So sad." It was nice getting to spend time with someone who understood her sadness what had happened.
Ellie didn't even notice anyone looking at them. She rarely paid any attention to anyone else around her when she was with her friends. She was completely focused on Oriel and the store could probably start burning down around her and she wouldn't notice until he told her it was. "They can. Everyone should go." Which was actually funny to think about because she couldn't imagine some people ever stepping in a muggle thrift store.
"Excellent! Then I'm totally taking up your afternoon. We can shop and eat and make a day of it." She was going to drag him all over muggle London. She was already trying to decide which shop she wanted to take him to first because there were so many choices. Second-hand shops were the greatest.
"Do you want to grab a bite to eat first?" Ellie could use food before taking on a shopping spree. She hadn't had a meal before leaving her place and breakfast now seemed like such a distant memory. If Oriel wasn't hungry though she'd just grab a snack somewhere though and be on her merry way with him. Finger food was awesome that way.
