"Come p'ay!" The little thief was already wriggling toward the edge of the bench and down toward the ground before he reached forward and snatched Jack's hand, trying quite ineffectually to tug him up to follow along behind. The other two had also wriggled down and were standing next to him, grinning up at Jack and bobbing up and down on their feet in barely concealed excitement at the idea.
Don laughed, reaching out to extract Jack's hand from his little thief. "I think he's eating, kiddo." Not to mention the fact one of his kids already stole from Jack. He really didn't want to add to the list that one (or more of them) stuffed sand in his pockets or something. And more then likely one of them would pick up something decidingly disgusting and try to give it to him.
"Guess we'll see." He hoped she liked it alright. Don really wasn't that great at giving gifts often because the things he typically thought were great normally weren't so great for others.
"You do have to admit that if you could play them all at once that'd give you quite a following of some sort." Odd things always drew a good crowd and became popular. Of course they didn't always stay popular and that would have been bad.
"Your musically inclined friend doesn't play the same type of music?" Not all of the Weird Sisters had been friends before they'd gotten together, but it hadn't taken long for them to become friends.
