17 August 2003 Who: Wayne Hopkins and Eloise Midgen When: Tuesday evening Where: Wayne's new flat, above The World's End pub, Camden Town, London What: Assembling the pride of Sweden Rating: PG-13, I'm thinking CLOSED/COMPLETE
KARLSTAD. HEMNES. And probably most importantly, BILLY. Lots and lots of BILLY. Boxes everywhere, with weird Nordic names, just waiting to be put together, like Lego kits for adults.
Wayne had his wand drawn, carefully circling the living room, bent over and muttering incantations that would baffle the sounds coming up from the pub below. Soundproofing took time, which he had, and skill, which he had--to a lesser degree. Slow and steady was the best way to make this a perfect job.
He was far too caught up in his job that he didn't hear any noises at the unlocked door. Perhaps the soundproofing was working better than he planned...
