Whether they were old enough or fit enough didn't seem to matter at the moment, right? Like it or not, they were going to be parents and Meghan didn't see another alternative. Obviously, one existed, but it wasn't something she was even considering. Maybe it was that her own conception hadn't been planned, but just getting rid of it wasn't an option for her.
She smiled and her eyes fluttered closed for an instant when Oliver came behind her and pulled her into his arms. Meghan leaned back against him and she couldn't help grinning at the way he rubbed at her stomach.
"Want might be a little strong, but yeah." She nodded, trying to appear more confident than she felt. "I can't.. I don't want to not do this," she tried to explain. She couldn't quite put it into words, but she hoped he would understand what she meant.
