He definitely noticed her expression, which deep down worried him more. Were they going to be fit to be parents? Were they still too young? Would their careers be too daunting on the both of them to have a child at that moment?
Like all of the other decisions he had to make in his life, Oliver wanted nothing more than to talk to his parents about what he should do. But ultimately, it was her body, her decision, and he was going to support her in any way he could.
"Right now, aye," he nodded. Oliver stood up and walked behind Meghan, who was putting the robe back onto the bed in the room, and wrapped his arms around her waist. He touched her belly and sort of rubbed it carefully. There was one question he had to ask, and while he knew the answer deep down, he needed to ask anyway.
"So...you want to do this? I just...I don't know I feel like I need to ask. I'm here for you with whatever decision you make." Because really, he didn't want to start making plans without knowing whether or not they were really having this baby.
