look at me arriving on time!
"Aye, don't be calling him your new mate so soon," Seamus said as he approached the table with a round of firewhiskey for the lot of them. Seamus arrived late, as he had some paperwork he had to finish with the bloke who was seeing Big Foot (well, mostly his son, because he had to convince some hag with the Wizengamot that the kid was just being a kid and that he meant no harm and didn't need to be expelled from Hogwarts). But that didn't mean he couldn't arrive late in style.
"Sorry I'm late, had to finish up some bloody paper work. But anyway Nev, congratulations on the new position," he said, giving him a giant bear hug and a lip-smacking kiss to the top of his head. "Don't be getting all chummy with Snape too quickly. You may have a friend in the castle yet." He hadn't heard from Snape officially about the Transfiguration position, but he figured that he was desperate if he was asking Hermione to be a teacher. Seamus was under the impression that he wasn't fond of Gryffindors from their year, especially those who associated themselves with Harry.
