Fleur had had an early day - Victoire had been asking again and again since Thursday if they could go down to the beach and pick up shells, but time just hadn't allowed for it until Tuesday morning. They had risen early and taken breakfast with them, and just combed the sands and pebbles casually for an hour or so before heading back to the Cottage. Admittedly, Victoire tended to misplace the things she collected, and more often than not completely forgot about them within a week's time, but Fleur found it difficult not to indulge her daughter. She had actually been considering trying to do some sort of project with some of the prettier specimens, but there hadn't been enough yet anyway. This scavenging seemed to be a new habit of Victoire's.
It was just as Fleur was finishing up with giving the toddler a bath that she heard the knock at the door. She ran a comb through Victoire's wet hair once more and straightened out the pink summer dress she had dressed her in before lifting her easily and walking out to answer the door. However, the need to answer the door had already been tended to - Percy had let himself in.
Fleur grinned, bending to place Victoire back on her own feet. As the little girl dashed over to her uncle, Fleur placed her hands on her hips. "Good morning, Percy." She looked expectantly at the boxes. "I am so sorry, I am sure Bill mentioned we were expecting you. But we had a busy morning and I may have forgotten. May I help you with those?"
