"OH!" Neville said, all of it making better sense, "I should have guessed. I would see you, and then get busy helping someone, and you would have disappeared," and as he realized how much he was explaining things, he colored again, "The bookstore. Sure. I bet you are great at it," he added as stepped ahead slightly to open the door for her, following in behind her.
It was open seating and he spied a table and pointed, heading towards it, to pull out a chair for her. He waited until she started sitting and then he took a seat as well, "I have not actually been inside there. You'll have to forgive me for that. I have been meaning to but the work gets me so busy," he had said, even as they had been walking in, "When I find I need a book, I would use the Library at school. I've been up there so often and most of the reference books I've needed have been there," and he stopped, finding himself grinning at her again, "So how have you been? I guess busy with the shop," he said, stopping and then starting again and stopping. He shut his mouth and shook his head slightly.
