Greg arrived at St. Mungo's and had checked in at the main office as was the proticale. The witch there had smiled at him, and flirted a little, "You again? You must have found someone that you fancy here," and she gave him a dimpled smile. Greg had only been able to grin back, nodding, "Yeah I did. My boyfriend," and he'd turned away, making his way up the Fourth floor, but not missing the sniff he had heard the girl give.
Once there, Greg felt his heart start beating faster. So much had happened in the last twenty four hours; now came the tough part of making it all work out. The job was a shoe in; not only would it solve Greg's credibility issues but it would give him money to help his mum and the house. He thought they might just sell the damn place and be done with it, even if it had been in the Goyle family for more than one hundred years. But the job gave Greg a safe place he could take Theo; it would let him get Theo back to an environment that would protect him and make him happy.
The talk with Draco had been tougher. Greg knew he was going to need Draco's help; the forms and paperwork alone were probably going to be overwhelming. Greg was lost in thought about that when he approached the wing to be stopped by a stern looking witch.
"Mayb I have a word with you, Mr. Goyle?"
Greg swallowed hard and nodded; the witch sounded just like Professor McGonagall and scared the shit out of him with her glare.
"I need to ask what exactly is going on between you and Theodore Nott?" she said. Greg wanted to tell her to take a sodden leap; it was none of her fucking affair. But he kept his tongue, "Me and Theo dated the whole of our last year in Hogwarts. I love him and I'm going to seek guardianship to help get him out of here and take him home."
Greg waited, worried at how she would react but her expression changed to something of pleased pleasure, and she smiled at him, "I suspected as much. He has changed greatly with your arrival, in fact, so much so that you could almost thing him healed. He isn't yet, of course, but progress has been made."
She paused, looking at her paperwork, "Your volunteer hours were originally assigned to various patients, but I think in light of the new turn of events, you may receive full credit hours for all of the time you spend with him. And Mr. Goyle," she said, looking down the bridge of her glasses, "Do not give up."
Greg left her office, feeling elated and almost bursting with excitement. It was shattered quickly when he opened Theo's door to an empty room.
Empty.
Where the bloody hell was he?!!
Greg moved back to the door, looking down the hall, a rise of panic forming in his chest.
