If Draco hadn't known how it would look, he'd have wanted her to move in as soon as she was out of Hogwarts. Her parents would have never stood for it though, and for good reason - they shouldn't stand for it. They shouldn't stand for much of what he'd put her through, though, and still he'd have fought them if they'd tried to direct her attetion elsewhere.
Not that he thought she could be misdirected. Of all the things in his life, she was the one thing he was sure of.
Which made it easier to smile and turn enough to catch her mouth, if only briefly, the kiss cut off by the car coming to a stop on the curb outside the restaurant. "You're never away from my thoughts, either," he said, sincere, and then he pulled away from her to get out of the car.
