She wasn't about to walk around half-starkers yet! Completely unnecessary. Women did this every single day. She could too, and she didn't need a sterile room with healers hovering. She just needed someone on one end and Remus on the other, holding her hand and letting her swear up a storm.
It was sweet, how concerned he was, and it almost made the pain worth it. Almost, but not quite. "I'm okay," she said once it passed. "I promise. It's not so bad--it feels like a cramp." A rather painful cramp that started in her back, of all places, but still a cramp. "I'm more worried about what happens when the pushing starts."
Tonks nodded and headed into the bedroom, summoning a pair of grey sweats. She didn't bother shutting the door, figuring that even if Remus didn't come in, he'd feel better, and he and two other people were about to stare at her private bits for Merlin only knew how long anyway. With a wave of her wand, she cleaned herself up and then proceeded to change, dreading what her mother would have to say about all of this.
"Couch," she said, waddling back toward the living room. "Are you okay? You're not feeling faint or anything, are you?"
