Marcus was a bit too slow to step out of her way. He had expected her to notice that there was actually someone else on the street; but bloody Gryffindors, never cared about anyone who hadn't 'Insanely brave' attached to their forehead in house colours. Marcus wasn't even in the mood for a fight today. Practice had been brilliant and he had planned to head home for a beer and a book.
Marcus owed it to his muscly build that he barely even took a step back when she bumped into him. His eyes gazed down at her and he didn't offer her a hand to help her up. "Sorry for standing in your way." he said with a sickly sweet smile and dripping sarcasm. he didn't expect her to apologize; he wouldn't do it either.
He did briefly wonder what would have occupied her mind so much that she hadn't even seen him. Which was quite a task, as he had broad shoulders and had been right in front of her. So she must have been lost in thought, or simply stupid for picking a fight. He supposed it was the first option.
