Who: Kinsey and Blaise
What: Kinsey and Blaise get to know eachother?
When: Thursday afternoon after class
Where: Quidditch Pitch
Warnings/Ratings None as of yet.. some flirting?

Kinsey literally ran as fast as her feet could take her down to the pitch after class. She would have flown, but her broom was down in the team locker room already. Must keep working on that spell, she thought. She'd been secretly trying to figure out a spell or incantation that would make human flight possible, but so far, no good.

She'd not had the best of days, first waking up late and nearly missing her first class. Then at lunch, some firstie had spilled their pumpkin juice on her lap, so she'd had to run to her dorm and quickly change before her next class. The only good thing about the class day was that it was over, and she could finally let loose and do some much needed flying.

She dashed into the co-ed locker room, not even checking to see that it was empty before shedding her uniform. She changed into a pair of tight muggle yoga pants and a t-shirt, both charmed to keep her warm. She wasn't a fan of restrictive clothing when she was flying, so the closer cut to her body, the better, though she drew the line at spandex.

She grabbed her broom and headed out onto the pitch to find another person already there. She recognized him, Blaise Zabini, from the Slytherin Quidditch team. Seeing as he was alone, she figured the pitch was big enough for the both of them, and mounted her broom and began to rise into the air quickly, giving him a small nod of acknowledgement before completing a barrel roll.

Unable to resist rolling his eyes on the girl's words, Blaise knew that none of this was worth his time. He normally kept clear of those that he had deemed unworthy of his presence merely by their blood status. She was someone that he wouldn't even think of talking to, not even on the pitch in the middle of a game, aside from a few wise words of bashing, of course. Annoyance was all that he was feeling from with defiance that she was presenting towards him.

Blaise had dropped the item within his hand, before tossing his leg on either side of the broom. A race wasn't something that he had wanted to do and had absolutly no intention of accomplishing that day. However, if the blonde girl wasn't about to come down to him, the he would meet her up in the air. He gazed up at her for a moment, remaining silent, before kicking off the ground. It didn't take him too long to make it up towards her eye level, which he returned by narrowing his eyes.

It wasn't very hard to notice the look she had given him. A smirk that the was all too used to. When he felt his usual self, Blaise would have retaliated in someway, despite the fact that she was in a different house. Other houses then his own was usually off limits, making some exceptions for ravenclaw females, but Hufflepuff? Even flirting with Susan always felt quite odd.

"That's a waste of time and effort. I have been here longer than you, so it should be my decision. A race or not, I am better than you," he replied, raising an eyebrow in a superior sort of way and eyes lingering upon the girl in front of him. "And what was that look for?"

She was slightly surprised at the fact that he kicked up and rose to meet her in the air. He really needed to get over himself, and she felt that the fact that he actually met her at her physical level took him down a peg or two.

"Really, so you feel the opportunity to train and raise your lefel of fitness, despite the surroundings and company, is a waste of time and ymadferth? And you're really going to use that kind of excuse? I've heard better reasoning from a firstie." She made a small face and repeated his words mockingly. "I was here first... honestly?"

Her patience was growing thinner, though she was up for some friendly competition/banter/stress relief/flirting(? where had that come from?). "And please. Goleuo me. I'm just dying to know how you think you're better than me." She raised the same eyebrow, not intimidated in the least. "What look were you referring to?"
