Who: Kinsey and Blaise
What: Kinsey and Blaise get to know eachother?
When: Thursday afternoon after class
Where: Quidditch Pitch
Warnings/Ratings None as of yet.. some flirting?

Kinsey literally ran as fast as her feet could take her down to the pitch after class. She would have flown, but her broom was down in the team locker room already. Must keep working on that spell, she thought. She'd been secretly trying to figure out a spell or incantation that would make human flight possible, but so far, no good.

She'd not had the best of days, first waking up late and nearly missing her first class. Then at lunch, some firstie had spilled their pumpkin juice on her lap, so she'd had to run to her dorm and quickly change before her next class. The only good thing about the class day was that it was over, and she could finally let loose and do some much needed flying.

She dashed into the co-ed locker room, not even checking to see that it was empty before shedding her uniform. She changed into a pair of tight muggle yoga pants and a t-shirt, both charmed to keep her warm. She wasn't a fan of restrictive clothing when she was flying, so the closer cut to her body, the better, though she drew the line at spandex.

She grabbed her broom and headed out onto the pitch to find another person already there. She recognized him, Blaise Zabini, from the Slytherin Quidditch team. Seeing as he was alone, she figured the pitch was big enough for the both of them, and mounted her broom and began to rise into the air quickly, giving him a small nod of acknowledgement before completing a barrel roll.

Blaise hadn't felt like himself for the past few weeks. Something different had occurred and he wasn't sure what was the reason behind a couple of events. Usually, he turned to his best friend, Daphne, at times of the sort, but she wasn't really anywhere to be found. It truly wasn't like her to act that sort of way. They had always been there for each other, but lately things on her side had been keeping them apart. Wishing that thinks were different and back to how things normally worked, Blaise knew that he knew he needed to get everything out of his mind.

After lunch, there had been a free period for himself to enjoy doing whatever seemingly came to mind. Most of the time, Blaise would take that time to relax and practically do nothing, but today was a little different. He had decided from the moment that he had woken up that morning to practice quidditch during that particular time alone. Maybe the time there by himself would do some good, possibly clear his mind from any negative thoughts. Things were changing for the worse and he couldn't do anything to make it all cease. He had talked it out with Daphne before and everything seemed to go well, especially with the random snogging, but that only lasted a week or slightly more.

Flying was a way to allow his body to relax, which was something that Blaise was greatful for truly. It helped a little, but not quite as much as he hoped. A handful minutes had passed by before he had decided to place his feet back on firm ground once again. With broom in hand, he walked casually over towards the small amount of items that he had decided to bring outside with him, which included a bottle of water. Time had gone slow, especially since he felt as though he might have been up there for a good half hour.

Noticing a stray hufflepuff enter the pitch with him, Blaise narrowed his eyes just at the sight of her. He didn't know her name, but he was sure that she was on her respective house team. Not really caring much for anyone in Hufflepuff, minus one particular female within that group, it was clear that he didn't know her name right from the start. "Oi," he remarked loudly and in a quite rude way, which was normal for him when it came to others that he didn't allow himself to really know. "This is my time on the pitch. If you know what's good for you, you would leave now."
