Unable to resist rolling his eyes on the girl's words, Blaise knew that none of this was worth his time. He normally kept clear of those that he had deemed unworthy of his presence merely by their blood status. She was someone that he wouldn't even think of talking to, not even on the pitch in the middle of a game, aside from a few wise words of bashing, of course. Annoyance was all that he was feeling from with defiance that she was presenting towards him.
Blaise had dropped the item within his hand, before tossing his leg on either side of the broom. A race wasn't something that he had wanted to do and had absolutly no intention of accomplishing that day. However, if the blonde girl wasn't about to come down to him, the he would meet her up in the air. He gazed up at her for a moment, remaining silent, before kicking off the ground. It didn't take him too long to make it up towards her eye level, which he returned by narrowing his eyes.
It wasn't very hard to notice the look she had given him. A smirk that the was all too used to. When he felt his usual self, Blaise would have retaliated in someway, despite the fact that she was in a different house. Other houses then his own was usually off limits, making some exceptions for ravenclaw females, but Hufflepuff? Even flirting with Susan always felt quite odd.
"That's a waste of time and effort. I have been here longer than you, so it should be my decision. A race or not, I am better than you," he replied, raising an eyebrow in a superior sort of way and eyes lingering upon the girl in front of him. "And what was that look for?"
