"If I'm ever back in Romania, you're more than welcome to come out for a visit! I'd love to have someone interested in meeting a dragon. I know they're dangerous, but really, Penny, they are not as bad as they seem. Of course, I'm a bit biased, I suppose," he winked, very much ready for the meal to come. Charlie was beyond hungry.
Charlie shrugged, "it's not necessarily a bad thing. Percy has been teased a lot, I used to tease him a bit myself, but he's a hard-working bloke who is responsible and well aware of what needs to be done." Charlie had a lot in common withe Percy that he had not realised until he got older, it was just that Percy worked harder and was a lot more academic than Charlie (or so it seemed). "But it's nice to hear you enjoy your work as well. It's easier to feel let down or disappointed by everything simply because of a war which is out of our control."
Cringing internally, he hated that every conversation brought up the war. Spending years away in Romania meant he needed to catch up on everything. He thought about talking Quidditch with Penelope—she told him she would not mind—but he could always bring it up at any time so they did not longer too long on a depressing topic. "I've been wanting to get out to a professional Quidditch match," he said. "I ran into Marcus Flint, a chaser on the Falcons, and we chatted for a bit. I threatened to beg for tickets from him, and I may just do it."
