After sending a few letters back and forth with the MacFustys, Charlie decided he would rather just pop into Hogsmeade, which was easy enough for any of them to get to, and sit down for a chat over a late lunch and tea. He was not quite sure who would be free enough to meet him there, but Charlie was happy enough just seeing any of them again. All his time in Romania, he only got the chance to send them letters every so often to talk shop, casual conversations once and a while. He tried to recall the last time he really saw any of them.
As much as Charlie would have rather seen the dragons, he knew he needed to make an effort to be more sociable with people, nor was he about to simply invite himself to see their habitat. If lunch went well enough, they may ask him to come by. Charlie's passion and love for dragons was very well known (especially considering he had two tattoos). A few letters found him over the years, inviting him to travel all over the world to see dragons—which he gladly accepted. Nothing about dragons stirred up any amount of fear, and Charlie thought of them as highly misunderstood beasts.
Grinning as he stepped inside The Three Broomsticks, Charlie hung his coat up and slid into a booth. "The biggest cup of coffee you've got, please," he said, sniffing a bit, the tip of his nose a bit pink from the cold. Thanking the server, Charlie wrapped his hands around the mug of hot, black coffee as he skimmed over a newspaper. He had not seen any of the MacFustys just yet, but he had arrived a bit early. Charlie was in no hurry, however, and usually was not.
