Lulu and Purple.... Together Again~ [Finished] Who: Lulu, Purple and their Pokemon What: Cake Where: The Gym in When: Afternoon, Friday Why: Purple senses that Lulu's most llikely in super!work mode and decides to surprise Lulu with cake and a visit.
It was Friday, that meant the Gym wouldn't open 'till closer to dusk today, to give the trainers that get up so early every morning to prepare the Gym a break. Plus, Purple enjoyed having the day to himself sometimes, especially now that stress level for all had climbed to unbearable levels. Purple had also began giving one trainer the day in the Gym off, so they could join him in watching the Gym at night. Lately, Purple had not been sleeping much, instead deciding to thrive on coffee and the adrenaline rush of battling.
However, Purple, who hadn't heard much from any Gym Leader, knew that the Leader of the Russet City Gym had slept even less than him. Knowing her, right now, as Purple traversed the path towards Russet, she was hard at work, trying to identify members of Sol and interrogating those they had. In his current bout of insomnia, Purple had baked a lovely lemon cake and realized he wasn't hungry, so he grabbed up his backpack, brewed a pot of his favorite coffee that matched well with the cake and set off for Russet.
It was around midday when Purple made it to the city, Pie, Punch and Toxic flittering happily behind him, chattering amongst themselves. Purple knew that the Gym would be closed and under lock and key during the day, so he immediatly headed into to town towards the International Police Headquarters in Russet. Knowing Lulu, she was there. Plus, there'd be more people to share the cake with, Purple hoped at least and even if she wasn't there, he could still ask about the latest developments in the case.
There was no possible way the trip wouldn't be worth it. Within a couple of minutes, Purple had reached HQ and casually entered, nodding to one of the police officers he knew and walking over to information, inquiring about the location of Lulu's office. It wasn't important, since her office was the one where people seemed to walking in and out of constantly. Purple knocked on the door and called,
"Lulu, it's Purple... er, Anthony, have a minute for a break and some cake?"
Purple chuckled as his joke. He didn't even mean to rhyme it and it did. He was good.
