Hey everyone! Please meet Liliana O'Rourke, the bookstore owner of Through the Looking Glass! She's been in town going on a year now, though she spent most of those first few months working night and day to fix up the old storefront she purchased and turn it into the shop it is today! She has just about any book you could imagine, new and old, and orders new ones on a weekly basis. She loves to bake goodies, and so the store always has something homemade waiting for customers, which she promises is not a gimmick to bring customers in, but will admit that it definitely helps.
She's originally from Lebanon, Oregon, where her dearly departed parents owned Heartache Ranch. They ran cattle in the beginning, and though her siblings still carry on that tradition, that business has taken a backseat to one they find to be more important: rehabilitation of a spirit. Though they cater mostly to young children, anyone with a wounded spirit is offered a place to rest. Their horses work magic when it comes to mending the soul, and the beauty of the land certainly doesn't hurt.
After a few hardships in her own life and the death of her parents, Lily struck out on her own to follow her dreams of owning a bookstore. She stumbled onto Boerne, Texas, and knew she had found the home she was looking for. She can be a bit jumpy and skittish at times, but for the most part she's a country girl at heart.

This is Riley Connor, half owner and head waitress of Darlene's Diner. She spends most of her time busting her ass at the Diner so that she can eventually buy out her siblings half. She's very soft spoken, loves country music and horseback riding. Did the whole beauty pageant thing for awhile and won a few awards, but doesn't really talk about it. Although there are some newspaper clippings on the walls at the diner.
She's only lived in Boerne for about 8 months, so she needs pretty much everything. Also, would love to have her younger sibling come in and give her someone to fuss over.

I meant to do this the day I wrapped up her app, but Christmas prep has had my brain all mixed up. I'm hoping to bring this little animal lover in and I'd love a few lines for her!
This is Beth Thornton and she's a native - both to Texas in general, but also the Boerne area. She's a veterinarian with a very small clinic who's been back in town for the past year or so. She's active in the local Baptist church, which she was raised in, though it's mostly in an attempt to repent for all the time she turned her back on the church while in Boston for school.
Lines of all kinds are welcome! Old friends, new friends, an ex or two from high school, neighbors - both to her home and her clinic, her two older brothers...anything and everything would be loved!

Hi, all! I've just apped this very special girl, here. Her name is Shelby, she's 32 and a Texas native removed to grand old New York. But now she's a permanent resident of Beorne following a family tragedy; after her sister's accidental death, as Godmother to niece and nephew, Madison and Turner, she took up custody.
So I am bringing Shelby into this setting about six months since her official move-in date, the accident just shy of a year ago. Once a true-blue country girl, she'll now be sticking out like a sore thumb because she's turned without a doubt into a city slicker. Ya'all can find her at Curl Up and Dye, the only salon located in town. (That's right, Shelby groaned aloud when she first heard the name, too.)
Lines are wanted! Anything–everything! I'm not above tweaking anything in her background to fit a spot, either. I am turning the posted line, "the one that got away," in my head. I'm tempted to try and make that work! Otherwise? I'd love you forever if you plotted with me. Wish me luck—I hope she's accepted! This is just the sort of setting I love. I'm looking forward to meeting and writing with all of you.

So I've just apped this guy as one half of the Clayton brothers. He's open to pretty much anything, the exception being his brother for which I'd really REALLY love a Hugh Jackman. He could use some former Delta buddies, ex-girlfriends who're still in town, a best friend who doesn't live on the ranch, and anything else imagineable since it's such a small town.
